Description
Laparoscopic Organ Retraction System.
Description: This system is specifically designed for use in laparoscopic (minimally invasive) abdominal surgery, particularly for retracting the liver to gain access to the gallbladder, bile ducts, or stomach.
Nathanson Retractor Hook: The large, curved, wire-like component is the retractor itself, which passes through a small incision (port).
FlexArm/Positioning Arm: The central, articulated, or ‘gooseneck’ arm is a flexible holder that attaches to the operating table (via the clamp on the right) and then locks the retractor in the desired position, providing stable, hands-free retraction.
